December 6 marks Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine . This year marks the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on this occasion, celebrations will take place in Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, Kramatorsk and Lvov.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy will take part in the celebration of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkiv. A military march will be held there on Freedom Square, and equipment will be handed over to combat brigades.
Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny will also greet him. The celebration program includes demonstrations of new types of weapons and military equipment.
On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the military will be awarded state awards, ceremonies for presenting battle flags and honorary titles to military units.
After the President's greeting on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov will speak in Odessa. The city will host a ceremony for the inclusion of two Island-class patrol boats into the Navy.
In Kramatorsk, Alexander Pavlyuk , the commander of the Joint Forces, will join the teleconference. The military will receive 34 units of the Kozak-2M1 BBKM.
In the Zhytomyr region , the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive a Mi-8 helicopter and one L-39, Su-27 and AN-26 aircraft each.
In Lvov, Kiev and Odessa, representatives of the military will receive 15, 13 and 12 units of HMMWV vehicles.
