On December 6, 15-year-old Ukrainian athlete Oleksiy Sereda won gold at the World Diving Championships among juniors, which takes place in Kiev.
The Ukrainian got the first line and 484.60 points by jumping from a 10-meter platform.
Alexey Sereda, the silver medalist from Russia Maxim Gulidov, was 57.05 points ahead of him – 427.55.
Another Ukrainian Daniil Avanesov stopped one step away from the podium with 402.85 points.
In jumps from the meter springboard, Daniil Konovalov also took the fourth line on December 6.
Thus, Aleksey Sereda's gold became the third in the piggy bank of the Ukrainian national team at this championship and the fifth medal in general.

Previously, the first and third places were won by Ksenia Bailo. Daniil Konovalov received a gold medal, as well as a silver medal together with Bogdan Chizhovsky.
The Junior World Diving Championships in Kiev will last until December 9.
