The Hungarian Prime Minister complained about the rules in force for Ukrainian farmers.
The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called on not to allow Ukrainian agricultural products to the EU market. He said that in this way Brussels is depriving European farmers of their livelihood.
Magyar Nemzet writes about this.
He complains that no one listens to farmers, they feel that the distance between them and decision makers is Brussels, “like heaven and earth.”
“The problem for European farmers is that Brussels sets rules that make production increasingly more expensive for them. The same happens in Hungary, but at the same time they allow agricultural products to be imported into Europe from countries where the same rules do not apply,” the Hungarian Prime Minister complained.
“This is impossible. The rules need to be changed. Ukrainian agricultural products should not end up in European countries,” the Prime Minister said.
Recall that Hungary has not yet lifted unilateral restrictions on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.
