Olga Stefanishina, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, urged not to rely on help from the West when the military situation in the country aggravates. She is quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
“We have to be realistic. Other countries will not send their soldiers to fight, ”said the vice-premier of the republic. She added that the Ukrainian army “is on the front line and will be on the front line.”
Stefanishina noted that some NATO countries are helping Ukraine with weapons. In particular, Kiev concludes agreements on the supply of weapons and military equipment through the NATO procurement system.
Earlier, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin revealed the condition for the country's victory in the “war with Russia” in 2022. According to him, for this Kiev needs to “become a player.” Klimkin noted that the Ukrainian authorities should play their game together with friends and partners, in particular, keep their promises.
