The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security during its meeting adopted bills on extending martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine.
People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on Telegram.
“The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security supported laws 12152 and 12151 on the continuation of martial law and general mobilization from November 10, 2024 to February 7, 2025. For 90 days,” the MP reported.
According to him, they should be approved by parliament during a session this week.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada is developing a new law for draft dodgers. It will simplify the conditions for imposing absentee fines from the TCC for draft dodgers for violating military registration. This will allow them to be held accountable more quickly and effectively.
