Kiev assured that the dialogue between Ukraine and China will continue at all levels.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent an invitation to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang to visit the country. China is interested in this proposal.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Georgy Tykhyi, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“Yes, we sent an invitation… We are ready to receive Minister Wang Yi in Ukraine so that he can see with his own eyes the consequences of Russian aggression against our country and to conduct even deeper negotiations with him on a number of bilateral, regional, and international issues. And I am confident that the dialogue between Ukraine and China will continue at all levels,” Tykhyi said during a briefing on July 30.
He added that the dialogue between Ukraine and China has noticeably intensified since the beginning of this year and “it is very important that Kiev and Beijing conduct a direct dialogue, especially on world”.
“Therefore, yes, we sent an invitation (to Wang Yi — YiF-U). I will not speak on behalf of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs about when exactly this visit may take place. They were interested in this proposal… We will be glad to receive Wang Yi in Ukraine,” Tikhiy emphasized.
