Ukraine managed to return six children to the territory under its control, including two minors who were orphans. Now they and their families are in a safe place, working with doctors and psychologists.
This was stated by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin. He noted that every child will be at home, and Ukraine is moving towards this goal step by step.
“We will not be able to return children to childhood, but we must return their home,” Prokudin noted.
He thanked the volunteers of the Save Ukraine organization, who cooperate with the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, guardianship and trusteeship authorities, and children's services in the Kherson region.
