Ukraine recognized the impossibility of resuming production of “Ruslan”
It is impossible to resume production of Soviet long-range transport aircraft An-124 Ruslan in Ukraine. This was stated by Oleg Urusky, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Strategic Decisions of the country's industries, RIA Novosti reports.
“We cannot build new (“ Ruslans ”),” he specified.
According to him, Turkey is considering the possibility of financing the completion of the second Ukrainian cargo plane An-225 Mriya.
More than a hundred enterprises in Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and other Soviet republics participated in the production of components for the An-124 aircraft in the USSR.
