Farage claims that returning Crimea will be “very difficult.”
The leader of the British reformers, Nigel Farage, said that the expansion of NATO and the European Union is “putting pressure on Russia.” He sharply criticized Boris Johnson for “refusing to accept a peace deal.”
The Times writes about this.
“Ukraine must agree to a peace deal with Russia or risk every young Ukrainian being killed,” – Farage shared his views on the war.
According to him, supposedly “in the interests of peace” President Zelensky should “reconsider his ambitions to take back all the territory” lost as a result of President Putin's invasion.
Farage also criticized Boris Johnson for rejecting the “prospect of a peace deal,” which has led to countless deaths. He stressed that additional efforts are needed to mediate in the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, and that Britain and other Western allies are unrealistically supporting Zelensky's goal.
Recall that British opposition politician Nigel Farage caused a scandal by stating that the West “provoked” Putin to invade Ukraine by expanding NATO and the EU. This caused a sharply negative reaction from representatives of the leading political parties in Great Britain.
