In turn, the head of the Department of War Crimes of the Office of the Prosecutor General Yuri Rud announced his intention to initiate the search for Brazhnikov at the next court session and to seek his extradition from official Paris to Ukraine.
& # 8212; Brazhnikov will not evade responsibility. The fact that he is abroad will not help him avoid the punishment determined by the court, Rud stressed.
He also expressed confidence that Ukraine will be able to return Brazhnikov from France.
Note that Brazhnikov was captured by the militants, and returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine after an exchange in December 2019.
Upon his return from captivity, it turned out that the man actively collaborated with Russian mercenaries and tortured Ukrainians in Isolation.
Earlier, Bellingcat investigative journalist Hristo Grozev said that his colleagues managed to find evidence that Isolation could be controlled by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.
According to him, during the investigation, the Russian passports of three militants were found.
