Ukraine imposed sanctions on two airlines for flights to Crimea
Ukraine has imposed sanctions on two foreign airlines in connection with their flights to Russia and Crimea.
The Moldovan company JET4U SRL and the Portuguese JET4U LDA were included in the “black list”, according to the SBU website.
Air carriers are threatened with suspension of financial and economic obligations, complete cessation of flights and transportation on the territory of Ukraine, as well as blocking of assets.
Ukrainian media write that we are talking about the planes with which the head of the political council of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” Viktor Medvedchuk and the deputy from this party Taras Kozak flew to Russia.
On the eve of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy put into effect the NSDC decision on sanctions against the TV channels 112.Ukraine, NewsOne and ZIK associated with Medvedchuk, and their owner Kozak. Restrictions on these opposition channels will be in effect for five years.
