NATO said that Ukraine urgently requested more than a hundred off-road vehicles, 760 motorized inflatable boats, dozens of heavy construction equipment, and 43,000 pairs of gloves in case of large-scale emergencies from the alliance. This was reported in the press service of the alliance, reports TASS.
It is clarified that the list of requested equipment and tools includes 4 pages. It also included 10 heavy bulldozers, truck cranes, excavators and 20-ton trucks, 100 off-road vans of various types, tools and vehicles, including unmanned ones, for mine search and demining, decontamination of the territory, chemical and radiological reconnaissance, fire extinguishing equipment, including dozens of pumps, tanks, fire hoses of various types with a total length of 240 km.
Ukraine is also asking for 70,000 chemical protection suits and tens of thousands of various fire equipment, 180 diving suits, thousands of radio communication devices and tens of thousands of doses of various medicines and medical supplies.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian International Affairs Council saw hope for the continuation of the negotiation process with NATO on security. At the same time, it was noted that Russia cannot be satisfied with the responses of the United States and NATO to their proposals in the current political situation.
