The world may face new chemical attacks, similar to the incident in British Salisbury. Defense Minister Ben Wallace warned about this, his words are quoted by the Sky News TV channel.
A British official said that the risk of attacks similar to the poisoning in Salisbury has increased due to the fact that now anyone can learn on the Internet how to make chemical weapons.
Wallace said that now that many people around the world have access to this kind of knowledge, attackers can launch attacks using chemical, biological, radiological and even nuclear weapons.
In March 2018, a former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found unconscious on a street in the British city of Salisbury. London said they had been poisoned with the Novichok nerve agent. The British side considers the Russian leadership to be involved in the incident. Moscow denies the charges.
