American mixed style fighter (MMA) Darren Stewart spoke about sparring with the Swede Khamzat Chimayev, who is called the New Khabib. His words are quoted by MMA Junkie.
Stewart complained about the damage while training with a Chechen fighter. “I know, many people say that he has not yet fought serious opponents. Listen here: my seal fell out from the way Chimaev took me in captivity, ”the American remarked.
The next opponent of Chimaev was supposed to be Briton Leon Edwards. However, the fight was postponed twice already.
