After the 2-1 win after extra time in the European Championship semi-final against Denmark, UEFA has started investigations against the English association.

The European Football Association accuses the English fans of several offenses. Above all, the laser pointer attack on Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel before the decisive penalty in the 104th minute, which England captain Harry Kane used in the margin.

It was clear from TV images that a laser pointer was aimed at the Danish goalkeeper before the penalty kick was taken. A green light was clearly visible on the 34-year-old's face. Shortly before Kane's shot, the green dot had approached Schmeichel's eyes.

It is still unclear whether the keeper was actually disturbed by the laser pointer. Nevertheless, UEFA is investigating. The fan who used the laser pointer has not yet been researched either.

In addition, the European Football Association announced that the FA is under investigation because of disruptions during the Danish anthem and because of the firing of pyrotechnics.
