On December 13, at 16.00 Kyiv time, new pairs of the Champions League 1/8 final teams were redefined.

The draw was held twice for the first time in history due to a mistake by the UEFA staff.

After it was corrected in the Champions League round of 16, the teams were distributed as follows:

  • Salzburg ( Austria) – Bayern (Germany),
  • Sporting (Portugal) – Manchester City (England),
  • Benfica (Portugal) – Ajax (Netherlands),
  • Chelsea (England) – Lille (France),
  • Atletico (Spain) – Manchester United (England),
  • Villarreal (Spain) – Juventus (Italy),
  • < li> Inter (Italy) & # 8212; Liverpool (England),

  • Paris Saint-Germain (France) – Real (Spain).

The first matches of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League will take place on 15-16 and 22 -February 23. The return ones are March 8-9 and 15-16.

The final of the tournament is to be held on May 28 at the Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg.

Recall that on December 13, for the first time in history, the League's draw took place again champions, because UEFA employees accidentally paired Manchester United to Villarreal, although the teams played in the same group.
