Two skiers at risk of losing toes after competing in a marathon

Swedish Mikael Ecklef and German Patrick Ottilinger may lose their toes after taking part in the La Diagonela ski marathon in Switzerland. This is reported by the NRK edition.

The competition took place on January 16. On some sections of the route, the air temperature dropped below minus 28 degrees Celsius. Several participants later reported frostbite.
