KAZAN, August 23. / TASS /. The Zelenodolsk plant named after A. M. Gorky in Tatarstan launched the pilot ships “Alexander Parfenov” and “Vsevolod Peresypkin”, intended for work on the Northern Sea Route. This was reported by the press service of the plant.

The pilot vessels of the BLV03 project were laid down at the shipyard in October 2019. They were named “Alexander Parfenov” and “Vsevolod Peresypkin” in honor of the scientists who headed the institutes “Lenmorniiproekt” and TsNIIMF.
The project was developed by the Marine Engineering Bureau, which is engaged in complex scientific research and the creation of projects for civil ships of all types and purposes. The ships are designed for maintenance and delivery to the shore of navigation equipment, specialists, supplies and property, as well as other works for the hydrographic support of merchant shipping in the water area of the Northern Sea Route.
The ships are planned to be used for work in the water area of the ports of the Northern Sea Route in order to ensure the safety of navigation and the development of port infrastructure.
As part of the official part of the ceremony, an awarding ceremony was held for the workers of the plant who made a significant contribution to the development of shipbuilding production.
At the end of the event, the godmothers (representatives of the state customer) smashed a bottle of champagne on the bow of each vessel.
