Moscow. October 7th. INTERFAX.RU – Filming of the feature film at the International Space Station (ISS) is proceeding according to schedule, said the film's director Klim Shipenko during negotiations with the Earth.

“We are practically on schedule, in which we planned to be. So today everything is going according to plan,” Shipenko said during negotiations with the MCC. “We shot several scenes (today – IF), two specifically,” he said.

On the eve, it was reported about the beginning of filming.

Actress Yulia Peresild, director Klim Shipenko and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov arrived at the ISS on October 5 on the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft. The crew plans to return to Earth on October 17th.

The film, tentatively titled “The Challenge,” will tell the story of a girl doctor who, due to dramatic circumstances, will have to prepare for a flight in a month and go to the ISS to rescue an astronaut.

The picture will be created jointly by the state corporation “Roscosmos”, “Channel One” and the studio Yellow, Black and White.

The head of the Glavkosmos company (part of Roscosmos) Dmitry Loskutov said on March 14 that the shooting of the film on the ISS would be financed by Channel One, and budget money would not be spent on them. According to him, part of the work will be financed by Glavkosmos, but at the expense of funds received from commercial activities.
