Two Russians from Moscow and Kuban shared the New Year's billion in the “Russian Lotto”

This year, the “New Year billion” of rubles in the “Russian Lotto” was shared by two Russians – each won 500 million rubles, one ticket was purchased in Moscow, the other – in the Krasnodar Territory. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the largest distributor of state lottery “Stoloto”.
“Following the results of the 1421st New Year draw of the Russian Lotto, two lottery multimillionaires appeared in Russia at once. Participants from Moscow and Krasnodar Territory shared the main prize of one billion rubles: each won 500 million rubles, ”the company said.
On January 1, another 52 Russians won one million rubles each, 64 participants closed all 30 numbers at the same time and divided among themselves the remaining 48 prizes of one million rubles each. According to the results of the “New Year Billion”, 14.479 million tickets were won, almost 2.975 billion rubles were drawn in the circulation.
According to Marketing Director Varvara Basanovich, this year the “New Year Billion” from “Russian Lotto” was held for the fifth time and managed to become a good January tradition for millions of Russians.
