Explosions were heard near the Moldovan border.

Two drones were found in the south of Moldova on the morning of February 13. The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador.

This was reported by the press service of the Moldovan police on Telegram.

It is noted that two more UAVs were discovered in the south of the country. One of them was in an agricultural field near the village of Chumai in the Taraclea district, and the other exploded in a field approximately 1.5 kilometers from Ceadir-Lunga. Experts are conducting an investigation at the scene and will then examine the drones. According to preliminary data, the fragments found in Ceadîra-Lunga belong to a Russian drone.

In turn, the NewsMaker publication reported that after a series of explosions near the Reni-Giurgiulesti border crossing point, the checkpoint stopped working at about 23:05 on February 12, and all employees were evacuated to Giurgiulesti.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador. Chisinau considers such actions as a violation of its sovereignty and a risk to peace and security in the region.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses deep concern and strongly condemns the repeated violations of national airspace by drones launched after Russian attacks on infrastructure in southern Ukraine,” the statement said.

Moldovan President Maia Sandu stressed on Twitter that the Shahed drones violated the country's airspace. Two of them exploded on the territory of Moldova.

“Russia does not respect borders, attacks civilians, spreads terror. Its war against Ukraine is criminal. Leave us, peaceful peoples, alone,” she wrote.

As reported, this night Russians fired more than 100 “Shaheds”. As a result of the enemy attack, Odessa and Kharkiv regions suffered.
