Moldova strongly condemned the aggressive incursions and once again stated its condemnation of Russia's brutal war against Ukraine after the discovery of two Russian UAVs.
This is stated in a post by Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi on the social network “X”.
Decoy drones fell on Moldovan territory after the night Russian attack on Ukraine.
The Foreign Minister confirmed that the decoys are used “for the purpose of misleading the air defense of Ukraine.”
“Hostile UAVs endangered the lives of Moldovans, violating Moldovan airspace… We strongly condemn these aggressive incursions and reiterate our condemnation of Russia's brutal war against Ukraine,” the Moldovan Foreign Minister said.
Recall that Russian troops attack Ukraine with “Shaheds” every day and use new cheap UAVs made of plywood and foam. These are the drones that distract air defense and mobile fire teams.
