Two already former managers of the Tyazhstankogidropress plant in Novosibirsk were caught in a major fraud – they withdrew from the assets of the enterprise and sold property worth over 200 million rubles. This was reported to Lente.ru on Tuesday, February 15, by the representative of the Federal Security Service for the Novosibirsk Region, Irina Zebrova.

According to the agency, the two detainees carried out their scheme from 2016 to 2020. Without the knowledge of the board of directors and shareholders, the attackers organized the alienation and sale of the company's property at a reduced cost. According to preliminary estimates, the plant lost its building, land plot, industrial equipment and 100 percent of the share in the authorized capital of the agricultural limited liability company owned by the enterprise. In total – in the amount of more than 200 million rubles. Soon the court will determine the measure of restraint for the suspects.

The Tyazhstankogidropress website states that the company is the largest Russian manufacturer of machine tools, hydraulic presses, mixers and industrial equipment for various purposes. In 1939, the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR adopted a resolution on the construction of a plant for boring machines in the city of Novosibirsk, this is how this enterprise appeared. The first products were a press and a boring machine, their factory produced in 1943 already in wartime.
