Two of the nine victims of an accident that occurred on the evening of December 8 on the highway Domanovo – Kovel – Chernivtsi – Terebleche near the village of Lozova, Ternopil region, died in the morning in the hospital.
At about 5 p.m. on this section of the route, a minibus Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313, moving along the route Kremenets – Ternopil, and a Volkswagen Passat collided.
Yesterday, both drivers, two passengers of a passenger car and five from minibus.
Unfortunately, the driver and one passenger of the minibus could not be saved – they died from their injuries.
Two more passengers are in intensive care in serious condition.
Investigators found that the minibus was converted from a cargo to a passenger one.
Both drivers were previously sober, this will establish a blood alcohol test.
The case is being investigated under part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of traffic safety rules, which resulted in the death of several people.

The car collision could have been caused by poor visibility on the road due to weather conditions.
