Two fundamental things are needed to liberate Crimea, – military expert

Ukraine is seeking to reclaim Crimea, which Russia seized in 2014. For the de-occupation of the peninsula, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in dire need of 2 types of weapons.

Military expert Petr Chernik told about this on the air of Channel 24 . According to him, for the liberation of Crimea, the Armed Forces of Ukraine must have long-range missiles and powerful aircraft.

What is needed for the de-occupation of Crimea

Chernik emphasized that the liberation of the peninsula is not an impossible task for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, two fundamental things are important for the de-occupation of the Crimea occupied by Russia.

First of all, the Ukrainian military needs long-range ATACMS missiles , which can hit the target at least 300 kilometers away. Thus, the Crimean bridge will cease to be a logistical thread for supporting the Crimean group of the Russian army, the military expert noted.

Petr Chernik also stressed that powerful aviation systems are extremely important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is desirable that Ukraine receive F-16 fighter jets .

At least 60 air class machines are required. That is, good aviation systems, preferably the F-16. We remember that the enemy has rather heavy aviation complexes Il-76, An-124 “Ruslan”. He can deliver a variety of materials to the Crimea with them,” he said.

The military expert is convinced that in order to prevent Russia from delivering equipment for its military to Crimea, aviation is needed.
