Two European countries – France and the Czech Republic – have closed their borders to foreigners due to the worsening situation with coronavirus. RIA Novosti reports.
In particular, the French authorities have decided to ban the entry and exit of all travelers arriving from countries outside the European Union. Residents of EU countries entering France are required to submit a negative PCR test for coronavirus.
In addition, all shopping centers with an area of more than 20 thousand square meters are closed in the country, and a curfew remains.
Only foreigners who study, work or have a residence permit can enter the Czech Republic. The restriction will be valid until mid-February. At the land borders of the Czech Republic, random checks will be carried out entering the country.
During the pandemic, more than 970 thousand people were infected with the coronavirus in the Czech Republic, and more than three million people in France.
On January 19, Forbes journalists compiled a list of countries ready to receive Russian tourists amid a pandemic. We are talking about at least 25 states.
