Social network Twitter has launched testing of the “Professional Profiles” feature. It allows companies and non-profit organizations to include more information about their business on their pages.
The administration of the social network told about the innovations in its account. Twitter said that business accounts can be used by everyone who uses the service for work, including authors and publishers.

Profiles are expected to display detailed information about the business. At first, several American companies will join the testing, but more accounts will be connected to it in the coming months.
The Twitter administration asked users to name the features they would like to see in the “Professional Profiles”. Kaiwon Beikpur, product director of the social network, noted that the function is now in its early stages. It is likely that in the future, “Professional Profiles” will contain more information.
Twitter regularly develops new options. For example, in January 2021, the Birdwatch anti-disinformation system was launched on social networks. It involves the creation of a community of observers who will check published tweets for fakes.
At the end of February, it became known about the company's plans to launch the first paid function in the social network. It will be called “Super Subscriptions” and will allow users to charge the audience for additional exclusive content.
Subsequently, the company proceeded to test the cancellation of the publication. According to preliminary information, users will be given no more than five seconds to refuse to send a tweet, after which the entry will appear in the feed.
