Twitter company appealed against a fine of 8.9 million rubles
The Tagansky District Court of Moscow received a complaint from Twitter about a fine of 8.9 million rubles, TASS reports.
The press service of the court reported that a meeting on this issue will take place on May 17.
In early April, it was reported that the social network was fined for systematic refusals to remove illegal content.
Roskomnadzor previously found the rate of removal of information on Twitter unsatisfactory, since the social network removed only a third of the content banned in the Russian Federation after the application of measures to slow down traffic.
