In the districts of the French communes Vien and Desin, where representatives of the Armenian population of the country live, there were aggressive demonstrations by the Turks, which in places turned into riots. This is reported by the LyonMAG portal and a number of eyewitnesses.
Videos posted on Twitter show crowds of dozens of men with Turkish flags. They walk through the streets chanting “Allahu Akbar” and anti-Armenian slogans. In one of the videos, it is noticeable that some of them show a gesture characteristic of the organization “Gray Wolves” – Turkish nationalists. It is its members who are suspected of organizing these so-called “punitive expeditions.”
The Twitter account “Police Commissioners”, posing as a syndicate of police officers from all over France, posted a video of what was happening with the caption: “In the evening in Vienne, the Turks staged a punitive sortie in search of Armenians and attacked a police patrol. Our colleagues have once again shown composure and courage in front of 150 overexcited people. “
