Turkey is in favor of an immediate ceasefire and peace in Ukraine.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that Ankara is in favor of the immediate establishment of peace in Ukraine.
He reported this on press conference in Ankara after meeting with Belgian Foreign Minister Bernard Quentin.
“We discussed regional issues, in particular Ukraine. Of course, we want an immediate ceasefire and peace in Ukraine. This war, which is happening in the 21st century in the center of Europe, must end as soon as possible, and the economic and other crises caused by this migration war must end,” Hakan Fidan said.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Erdogan said that ending the war in Ukraine would be Turkey's priority in the new year.
