Turkish tanker wrecked and blocked the Bosphorus

The cause of the accident was the anchor that fell from the tanker.

Tanker USICHEM near Istanbul loaded with sunflower oil, moving along the Bosphorus, was wrecked, as a result of which it blocked the movement of ships and boats.

This was reported by KEGM.

It is noted that the Turkish tanker was heading south through the Bosphorus. However, right during the movement, the anchor fell out of the tanker, due to which the movement of ships and boats was stopped. Why the anchor fell out is unknown. They are currently working on accident management to restore traffic along the strait.
