The deputy was revived right in the parliament building, Channel 7 reports. After this, he was hospitalized; doctors assess the politician’s condition as serious.

During his speech, Hasan Bitmez criticized the Turkish authorities for continuing cooperation with Israel. He stated that Allah would punish all allies of official Jerusalem. Therefore, Ankara must interrupt trade relations with Israel.

Some of Bitmez’s colleagues criticized his position and expressed their dissatisfaction with the government’s remarks. And someone even said that what happened to him was “the wrath of Allah.”
