A court in the city of Antalya in Turkey arrested two immigrants from Crimea, Limar and Osman Osmanov, for belonging to the terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, banned in Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the lawyer of the arrested Mustafa Kochamanbash.

It is known that the Osmanovs are Crimean Tatars with Ukrainian citizenship; they arrived in Turkey in 2014. The Turkish prosecutor's office wants to sentence them to 7.5 years in prison. In particular, the suspects conducted conversations on the Islamic topic in social networks, gathered for religious lessons. The lawyer claims that there is no corpus delicti in the actions of his clients and stresses that the Turkish Constitutional Court did not recognize Hizb ut-Tahrir as terrorist (however, it is prohibited).

“Hizb ut-Tahrir” was created in the 50s of the last century to fight for the world caliphate, it was banned in Russia, in the countries of Central Asia, Turkey, Egypt, China, Pakistan, Germany and some other states.
