Experts assessed the military-industrial sector of Turkey, or rather one of its directions.
The Turkish company Roketsan has developed a new generation of anti-tank missiles. They are easy to use and have an extended flight range. Experts are confident that if missiles are used in a conflict, its course could change dramatically.
Experts noted that the new Turkish anti-tank missile system (ATGM) OMTAS is superior to the American BGM-71 TOW. It is more adaptive, that is, it can be installed on various platforms, for example, on unmanned turrets.
The flight range of OMTAS is longer than that of TOW-2B – 4 kilometers versus 3.75. Also, the Turkish complex is superior to the American FGM-148 Javelin. Experts believe that OMTAS has a “glorious future” and that it will still show itself in battles.
