In Turkey, two earthquakes were recorded at once on February 28 in the Onikisubat area of the city of Kahramanmarash.

Recorded earthquakes had a magnitude of 4.1 and 4.5 on the Richter scale and occurred at approximately 17:39 local time.

The first tremors were recorded at a depth of 9.88 km above the sea surface.

A second earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred in the same area 10 minutes later. and its epicenter was at a depth of 13.61 km.

According to preliminary data, as a result of the natural phenomenon, there were no victims or casualties.

Recall that the number of victims of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, which occurred on February 6, exceeded 50 thousand. These are data as of February 25. Rescuers continue to work.

Note that on the night of February 27 and during the day in Ukraine, earthquakes were recorded in Transcarpathia and in the occupied Crimea.

Aftershocks of magnitude 3.3 in Transcarpathia were recorded near the village of Velyka Dobron. And in the Crimea, an earthquake with a magnitude of up to 3 was recorded between Yalta and Alushta.
