It is noted that a total of 116 people died. Earlier, Ankara reported 114 victims of the earthquake, two more were teenagers from the Greek island of Samos. Another 1,035 people in Turkish Izmir were injured.
On November 2, a three-year-old child was rescued after the earthquake in Izmir. A girl named Elif Perinchek was able to pull out from under the rubble of one of the residential buildings. This happened 65 hours after the start of the earthquake.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 hit the Aegean Sea on the afternoon of October 30. The natural phenomenon also affected the nearest islands of Greece, there were tremors of magnitude 6.9. In particular, the destruction was recorded on the Greek island of Samos, where two people were killed and 20 were injured.
