Turkey conducts first test of short-range ballistic missile

The first Turkish short-range ballistic missile hit a target at a distance of 561 kilometers in 458 seconds.

First tests were conducted in Turkey ballistic missile TYFUN produced by one of the world's leading companies developing precision-guided munitions “Roketsun”.

So far, it is known that the tests of the first Turkish short-range ballistic missile have passed successfully and the missile hit the target at a distance of 561 kilometers in 458 seconds. The launch took place from the Rize-Artvin airport in northeastern Turkey.

The Savunmasanayist publication noted that the new missile is similar to the BORA ballistic missile manufactured by the same Turkish company. At the same time, there are no details on the ballistic missile project on the website of the Roketsan missile developer company yet.
