Figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva set a record for the number of appearances at the Russian championships. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
For Tuktamysheva, the current national championship was the 14th in her career. For the first time she performed at the main domestic Russian start in the 2007/2008 season. Tuktamysheva broke the record held by Alena Leonova, who performed in 13 tournaments.
At the Russian Championship that ended on December 25, Tuktamysheva took seventh place. In total, for two programs, she scored 224.40 points. Kamila Valieva became the winner. Also, the top three winners included Alexandra Trusova and Anna Shcherbakova.
Tuktamysheva trains under the guidance of Alexei Mishin. The athlete became the world and European champion in 2015. She also has the bronze of the continental championship and the silver of the world championship. Tuktamysheva became the champion of Russia in 2013.
