The wife of the current US President Donald Trump Melania was going to divorce the politician after the announcement of the results of the US elections, writes the Daily Mail.
Journalists, referring to the former family assistant Omarosu Manigault-Newman, argue that Melania has long thought about divorce and was waiting for the American leader to leave office. “If Melania could endure the extreme humiliation and leave while Trump was in power, he would find a way to punish her,” the woman shared.
Another assistant, Stephanie Volkoff, in turn, said that all 15 years of their marriage were actually a “deal” and the spouses even slept in separate rooms of the White House.
At the same time, Melania Trump has always claimed that she and Donald have a great relationship. However, American journalists suggest that she was forced to make such statements because of the drawn up marriage contract.
The publication also reported that Melania Trump had previously negotiated a postnuptial agreement so that their child would later receive the proper share of his father's inheritance.
On November 7, the results of the US elections were announced. Democrat Joe Biden, who received 290 with the required 270 electoral votes, which ensured his victory, declared himself President-elect. He will become the 46th President of the United States. At the end of November he will turn 78 years old and will be the oldest American leader.
