The company of former US President Donald Trump Trump Media & Technology Group announced the imminent launch of its own social network called TRUTH Social.
According to the assurances of the developers, the social network will become a rival to the liberal-minded media, as well as network giants, whose efforts are aimed at silencing the unwanted.
“We live in a world where the Taliban * have a huge Twitter presence and your beloved American president is silenced. This is unacceptable, – said Trump, announcing a new social network. Reported by The Guardian.
After the January storming of the Capitol by Trump supporters, the accounts of the 45th President of the United States were blocked in almost all major social networks – some announced temporary bans, some – about an eternal ban.
Initially, Trump was outraged that he was separated from his subscribers (the president's accounts had tens of millions of subscribers), and later said that he did not plan to return to the old social networks.
It is known that the launch of the beta version of TRUTH Social is scheduled for November 2021, and it will be possible to register in it at the first stage by invitation.
After being banned for life by all major social networks – Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, the former US president began blogging on another platform, declaring it a “space for free and safe communication.” But he did not achieve success in this field, returning to communicating with traditional media, skillfully using every excuse to reproach the Biden administration for unprofessionalism.
