The private jet of US presidential candidate Donald Trump was forced to make an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction halfway to its destination.
This was reported by a correspondent ТСН Ekaterina Fedorchenko.
The plane landed in the American state of Montana, one hundred and fifty miles (about 240 km) from where the politician was heading.
The landing was successful, and Donald Trump calmly exited his aircraft. He later used a private jet to travel further.
There are few details about this emergency landing, only a mechanical problem unrelated to safety issues is said.
According to CBS News, Donald Trump was flying his plane to the city of Bozeman, Montana, where he had a planned campaign rally. But the plane had to land in Billings.
A statement from Billings Logan International Airport, quoted by the American publication, said that Trump's plane “landed without incident,” after which Trump flew to Bozeman on another private jet.
There was no further information about the malfunction of Trump's plane.
