National Security Adviser to US President Donald Trump Robert O'Brien has contracted the coronavirus. This was reported on Twitter by Bloomberg QuickTake.

It is known that O'Brien stopped going to work last week. Other details have not yet been disclosed.

Earlier, more than 150 American medical experts, medical professionals, scientists, educators and experts in other fields signed a collective letter to the authorities, which called for the renewal of tighter quarantine in the country. The letter was sent to the presidential administration, the US Congress and state governors. It reminds us that the United States is moving towards a psychological mark of 200 thousand deaths due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus – it is estimated that so many Americans will be victims of the pandemic by November this year.
