Trump's final argument for his election: Promise to end the war wasn't enough

After meeting with Zelensky, Trump tried to scare Americans with the global consequences of Harris's victory in the election.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Friday, September 27, that he had a “wonderful meeting” with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in New York. He added that if he wins the November election, the war between Ukraine and Russia “will end quickly.”

Unian writes about this, citing Trump's message on his social network Truth Social.

But perhaps Trump has decided that he has been playing this “election trump card” for too long, so he added a more serious argument in favor of his election as president to his message.

“If not [if Trump does not win – ed.], then this war will never end and will move into the phase of World War III. Harris could not, and will never be able to end the war. Nothing will change, except that the death and destruction will only get worse,” Trump noted.

Recall that Trump said how to end the war in Ukraine. According to the US presidential candidate, in the context of Russia's war against Ukraine, he wants “a fair agreement for everyone.”
