Donald Trump
Sean Conley, the attending physician of US President Donald Trump, has specified the timing of his coronavirus diagnosis. This is stated in his written memorandum circulated by Axios.
According to the physician, the American leader was diagnosed with an infection on Thursday evening, October 1. “This morning, when describing the president's health, I used the wrong expression '72 hours' instead of 'third day (of illness),' I also said '48 hours' instead of 'second day,'” Conley admitted.
Thus, he responded to suspicions that the diagnosis to the head of state could have been made on Wednesday, and not on Friday night, and that the head of state went to campaign events knowing about his illness.
Earlier, Trump's doctor announced that the American leader was doing well. According to him, the president expressed his readiness to be discharged from the hospital, however, the doctors have not yet named the discharge date. The owner of the White House himself later also confirmed his good health.
The American leader announced a positive test for coronavirus on October 2. He added that his wife, Melania Trump, was also diagnosed with the disease. The President promised to immediately begin treatment and quarantine.
