The moderator of the US presidential debate will be able to mute the microphones for participants – President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden. This is reported by the British edition of The Independent with reference to the organizers of the debate.
Thus, it is intended to maintain “greater order in the discussions on various issues.” Trump believes that the organizers are on the side of his opponents and that the host of the debate, Chris Wallace, participated in them on the side of Biden.
The US President also expressed confidence that he defeated his rival. He pointed to the extremely high ratings of the debate on television and stated that television channels will someday miss the success that his presence has provided.
The first Biden-Trump debate took place on September 29 at the auditorium of Case Western River University in Cleveland, Ohio. During the debate, the presidential candidates interrupted each other many times, exchanged accusations of violation of laws and rudeness. So, Biden at some point suggested that Trump “shut up”.
The second debate of candidates for the presidency of the American state will be held on October 15 in Miami, Florida, the third – in Nashville, Tennessee. The US presidential election will take place on November 3.
