Harris spoke about how she plans to govern the country if she wins the election.
US Vice President Kamala Harris, who is now is a candidate for US President, built her election campaign on such key issues for Americans as freedom to join trade unions, affordable health care, affordable child care, paid parental leave, a decent pension, the right of every American to vote, safety from violence weapons, restoration of reproductive freedom.
Harris spoke about this during her speech at a campaign rally, CNN reports.
The US Vice President also made a loud statement regarding her opponent Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump wants to set our country back,” the vice president emphasized.
Harris, as a former California attorney general and trial prosecutor, said she has “taken on criminals of all kinds: predators who abused women, scammers who defrauded consumers, scammers who broke the rules for their own gain. < /p>
“So hear me when I say: I know the type of Donald Trump. And in this campaign, I promise you: I will proudly put my record against him any day of the week… We who believe in reproductive freedom will stop Donald's bans Trump on abortion because we trust women to make decisions about their own bodies, not let the government tell them what to do. And when Congress passes legislation to restore reproductive freedoms, as President of the United States, I will sign it,” Harris said. 60~/p>
She also reported that her campaign has raised tens of millions of dollars in funding in the last 24 hours.
“We're running a campaign with the support of the people. And we just got some great news: We just had the best 24 hours of grassroots fundraising in the history of a presidential campaign, and it's because we're running a campaign, run by the people, you can be sure that I will be a people-oriented president,” she said.
