Former US President Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, who holds the position of Vice President, will hold the first debate before the 2024 presidential election on the night of September 11.
Trump and Harris debates will begin at 4:00 Kyiv time on September 11.

The debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is organized by the American TV channel ABC News.
The live broadcast will be available on ABC News YouTube channel.

What will be the rules of the Trump-Harris debate
The debate will take place in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center. The moderators will be World News Tonight host David Muirand ABC News Live anchor Linsey Davis.
ABC reported that both U.S. presidential candidates have agreed to debate rules that stipulate that their microphones will be turned off when the other candidate's time to answer has passed.
The agreed upon rules include:
- the debate will last 90 minutes with two commercial breaks;
- the two moderators will be the only people asking questions;
- there will be no opening remarks provided;
- Closing speeches will be two minutes long for each candidate;
- Candidates will stand behind the podium for the entire debate;
- No props or pre-written notes will be allowed on stage;
- No topics or questions will be communicated to the campaigns or candidates in advance;
- Candidates will be provided with a pen, notepad, and bottle of water;
- Candidates will have two minutes to answer questions, two minutes to rebut, and one additional minute to clarify, clarify, or lines;
- candidates are not allowed to ask each other questions;
- campaign staff are not allowed to talk to candidates during commercial breaks;
- there will be no spectators in the room.
Before the debates, both candidates Trump and Harris have almost equal voter support.
Harris told reporters in comments that she expects Trump to lie a lot, because that is his usual tactics.
People think Trump is very frank and predictable and are worried that he won't get too emotional during the debates.
