Trump spoke about the loss of friends due to being elected president

US President Donald Trump has lost all his friends because of his election to the highest government office. The American leader spoke about this at a meeting with voters in Wisconsin, RIA Novosti writes.

“I had friends. We had great conversations, you don't have to know what we were talking about, it's none of your business. Suddenly, I become the President of the United States. And now they call me: “Mr. President, sir, would you like to meet sometime?” I say, “Relax. Just call me Donald, you knew me for 30 years,” Trump said.

The head of the White House added that he now has to rely on members of Congress to replace his friends.

Trump became President of the United States in 2016. On August 27, he formally agreed to run for a second presidential term from the US Republican Party. His main opponent will be Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
