Trump says he doesn't know if he can find a way to end the war in Ukraine

The US President said he was not sure he would find a way to end the war in Ukraine. Earlier, Trump spoke by phone with Putin and Zelensky.

This statement is in sharp contrast to his previous bold statements about the possibility of ending the war “in 24 hours,” 24 Kanal reports, citing Politico.

Trump doubts his ability to end the war in Ukraine

Trump spoke by phone earlier this week first with Putin and then with Zelensky, leaving Trump even less confident that he can end the war in Ukraine.

“I don't know. I can't tell you whether it's going to happen or not,” Trump said in response to a reporter's question aboard Air Force One.
