The Black Lives Matter Movement (BLM, “Black Lives Matter”) only harms the black population of the United States. This was stated by the American leader Donald Trump, speaking to his supporters in Atlanta (Georgia), TASS reports.
In particular, he pointed out that many of the participants in the riots that swept across the United States are BLM supporters. “It really hurts the black community,” said the head of the White House.
Trump had previously stated that he did not like the name and main slogan of BLM as soon as he heard them. “This is a discriminatory name. This is bad for blacks. It's bad for everyone, ”he said, also recalling that BLM is a Marxist organization, and condemned corporations that donated hundreds of millions of dollars to it.
The name of the BLM movement is consonant with the main slogan of the protests that have gripped dozens of American cities: their participants fight the systematic oppression of black residents of the United States and police brutality. The protests, periodically turning into pogroms and robberies, began after the African American George Floyd was killed during his arrest.
